As we wrapped up our final Mentor Meeting for the 2025-2026 West Central MN CEO class, one thing is clear — the relationships built through this program are truly life changing.

The mentor connection is one of the most valuable pieces of the West Central MN CEO experience. Throughout the year, our students were challenged, encouraged, and inspired by local business leaders who invested their time, wisdom, and belief into the next generation. These conversations helped students grow not only as young entrepreneurs, but also as confident leaders ready to make an impact in our communities.

Through mentorships and internships, students gain real-world experiences that simply cannot be taught inside a classroom. They learn communication, problem solving, professionalism, networking, and how businesses truly operate day to day. More importantly, they begin to see the incredible opportunities that exist right here in West Central Minnesota.

These experiences strengthen the connection between students, businesses, and communities — creating a stronger future workforce, encouraging entrepreneurship, and helping retain talented young leaders in our region.
