Each CEO student is paired with a mentor for the year. Mentors meet face-to-face with students once a month and communicate as needed throughout the year. Today was the last Mentor Day for the year. Mentors spent time helping students prepare for Banker Day and Trade Show.
CEO teaches that feedback is a gift, and today it was the students who gave the mentors feedback about how helpful they have been this year.
--"You treat us like adults, not students."
--"You bring so much experience to the discussion."
--"You help us with more than just business."
--"You help guide us in career and college decisions."
--"You give up your time to be a mentor."
--"You are in the field I want to be in and give me good advice."
--"You are part of our network now."
--"I come into a meeting without ideas and walk away with many to think about."
This year's mentors were Brodie Mitchell, Bryce Carpenter, Tammy Schike, TJ Warren, Kristen Witt, Kristin Snow, Gabbi Sons, Molly Barrett, Emily Bennett, Adam Pomfret, and Mike Woods. We appreciate those who filled in for mentors when as needed: Brian Huxford, Wyatt Sons, and Carrie Smith.
