We enjoyed a great site visit to Herff Jones in partnership with Jake Romano of Illini Grad Sales and Central IL CEO .

Students were able to see the manufacturing process of caps and gowns from start to finish—many of which they’ll be wearing themselves in May. It was a meaningful way to connect the classroom to a real-world experience.

Jake also spent time talking with students about leadership and what it means to step into a CEO role, sharing practical insights they can carry forward.
