Today we had an incredible opportunity to tour the Illinois State Capitol with Senator Fowler! The Capitol is absolutely beautiful and full of rich history, making the experience even more meaningful. We learned how our state government operates, explored the historic building, and got a behind-the-scenes look at where important decisions are made.
One of the highlights of the day was being announced on the floor during the session—such a memorable and exciting moment for our group! Experiences like this truly bring learning to life and give our students a deeper appreciation for leadership, history, and civic engagement.
